Nick, a chef at Guildford’s Holiday Inn, has won an important award for his ‘About Us’ learning and progress onto a 2-year catering course.

Nick was presented with his certificate and trophy at the South East Adult Learners’ Week Award ceremony in Slough recently.

Nick successfully gained a Level 2 catering qualification through About Us, showing how good he was at working in the Holiday Inn kitchens and also surprising fellow staff with just how much he knew!

His About Us learning helped Nick feel more confident and want to do more learning. He is on a 2-year catering course at Brooklands College and loves the practical side of catering – he has recently made pasta, bread and delicious cakes.
