Gro'wth plans to combine the six day services task force and horticulture teams into one social firm.

A social firm is a money making business set up to provide a supportive workplace for disabled people, and pays them for the work they do.

Gro'wth involves 63 service users each day. The work they do includes: Gardening contracts, grounds maintenance, making sensory gardens, and running a small garden centre/nursery.

Service users say:

“I work in a garden centre four days a week, I don’t call it work, but fun. I just love it !”

“I like working up at the greenhouse, I like pricking out and potting up and weeding. It’s good fun.”

“I like cutting shoots, potting and watering”
