Students have made beautiful flowers and amazing characters like Easter bunnies and bears. Here’s Diana making flowers and Rose with the finished product. Colebrook Allotment Open Day – July 07 The Colebrook Allotment was alive with activity recently, as lots of people attended the Open Day. Guests enjoyed delicious carrot cake and strawberry smoothies, both made from produce grown on the allotment. They also enjoyed seeing the results of the Make-A-Scarecrow competition and taking part in the ‘Hunt the Grome’ competition. Some of the garden group were presented with their ‘About Us’ certificates and the first Green Genes art project plaque was officially unveiled. Supported by Action
Earth, lots of hard work had gone into making the Open Day a success.

you’ for their work – and for making the sun shine on proceedings! |
